Mary and Jesus: John Chapter 19 Versses 25 through 30
Mary stood at the foot of the cross, her heart heavy with grief as she watched her beloved son, Jesus, die. The sight before her was unbearable - Jesus' body was writhing in pain, his arms and legs stretched out on the wooden beams, nails driven through his hands and feet. His face was contorted in agony, and his breaths came in short, labored gasps. Mary's eyes were fixed on Jesus, and she could not tear her gaze away from him. She wanted to reach out and comfort him, telling him that she loved him and everything would be alright. But she knew there was nothing she could do to ease his suffering. As the minutes ticked by, Mary felt helpless and despair wash over her. Her mind raced with memories of Jesus' life - his birth, ministry, and miracles.
