The feds are now monitoring our gaming interactions like never before, both in-game, Discord, and Reddit.  Now, truth be told, when I had my security clearance training at TBI many moons ago, the case study the FBI showed us involved a popular MMORPG that was used in passing sensitive information "for the horde." Sergeant Joshua Clouse was shot and killed by a subject in the 500 block of E 7th Street as he and other officers executed a search warrant. The subject inside of the home was wanted for shooting his wife during a domestic violence incident earlier in the night. The wounded woman could walk to a neighbor's home and call the police. Responding officers secured the subject's residence and obtained a search warrant to take him into custody. As officers with the Cameron Police Department and several neighboring agencies attempted to execute the warrant, the man opened fire, fatally wounding Sergeant Clouse. Other officers returned fire and killed the subject. Sergeant Clouse was a U.S. Army veteran. His wife and two children survive him.

Deputy Sheriff Josh Owen was shot and killed while he and another deputy attempted to arrest a man for domestic violence in the 400 block of Stromen Street in Cyrus at about 7:30 pm.  Deputies as well as police officers from the Glenwood Police Department and Starbuck Police Department had been dispatched to the house for reports of a domestic violence incident. The officers were attempting to place the man into custody when he opened fire on them. Deputy Owen and the subject were both fatally wounded. The other deputy and the Starbuck officer were injured. The incident occurred on Deputy Owen's 44th birthday.  "Our sympathies and love are with Deputy Josh Owen's family, and the families of the other deputies and officers involved," said Pope County Sheriff Tim Riley.  "Deputy Owen had a heart as big as his stature.
